Additionally, The Gift of Death (with Skeletal Mage only allowing 10 mages at a time) combined with Simulacrum is an easy way to get tons of corpses really fast and thus tons of explosions. This lets my minions distract enemies while they deal shit loads of damage and drop corpses not only for killing things but also running out of time. Personally, my favorite and the most effective build I've found is to run corpse explosion (usually either Bloody Mess or Final Embrace) with Command Skeletons, Leech, Skeletal Mages (the Gift of Death for more corpses) and Simulacrum (Blood and Bone). I keep seeing a lot of builds using corpse lance and grim scythe that supposedly deal tons of damage, but I always find them to be weak.
